The
Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Studio
has been a wellspring for the theatrical casting and
producing community for over twenty years, and continues to produce gifted
actors, writers, directors,
and producers who bring their training and talent to all aspects of theater,
film, and television. The
studio offers a variety of programs for the professional and select pre-professional
actor, writer, director,
and producer. Pre-professional programs include a Six-Week Intensive and
the Straight Essential Acting course.
The Joanne
Baron/D.W. Brown Studio
also offers special continuing educational programs,
including a Master Class, Character Interpretation and Script Analysis and
a Scene Study Lab for
Working Actors, providing an intensive opportunity for the most serious
actors who are
ready to commit substantial time and energy to the pursuit of excellence
in their craft.
The Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Studio is among
a handful of select acting schools registered
with the California Bureau of Private Post-Secondary and Vocational Education.
The Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Studio also produces
films utilizing its talent, such as the
movie Perfume, which saw its world premiere
at the Sundance Film Festival. The Studio also does
on-set coaching for films, working with actors such as Academy, Emmy, and
Golden Globe
Award Winner "Halle Berry." One of
its other films, Allie & Me, has
its theatrical debut September, 2002
